The security objection is a farce.<br /><br />Also, as I said at the hearing, if security of the water system was a concern, they had their chance to address that by siting the filtration plant in Westchester and decommissioning the reservoir as many of us had urged. But if ecurity was not a concern at that time, now to raise it as an objection is a despicable anti-community tactic.<br /><br />There are no good reasons to deny greater public access to the reservoir and the benefits to an entire region of the Bronx would be immeasurable.GAX in the Bronxnoreply@blogger.com
