Leave the bottom structure up. Lots of room inside the stadium for parkland.
With the bottom structure up, spaces can be rented out for restaurants, bars, game center for kids, an old fashion movie house, etc.
This way here, the Bronx will keep part of a very historic place, the children will have a historic place in which to play in, and money can be made by renting the bottom structure out to businesses.
