A Debate on the Issues -- Aug. 31

Bronx News Network is organizing a television debate on Aug. 31 for the 14th Council District in conjunction with BronxTalk, the cable television talk show hosted by Gary Axelbank on channel 67 (Cablevision).

Earlier this week, we invited all the candidates and are waiting for their responses. We will keep you updated.

    Guaranteed Maria Baez won't show up. Too far to travel from the Poconos. she'll have Sherman represent her like she does at all community events in her district. What a joke

    I agree she will not show up....she will just pay the fine. Probably all her supporters will. Sadly, all her people work so hard for her campaing and she is not around. IT's her people's campaing. She only uses them for her own gain.

    Let's see what happens!
