ReplyDeleteWhat is that structure in the front? It mostly looks cartoonish, but then there appears to be a steeple. Is it photoshopped or something you shot?

ReplyDeleteThat is the apartment building on the Northeast corner of Tryon and Reservoir Oval. The colors seem brighter than usual -- but that is definitely the corner of that apartment building. They don't build with detail like that anymore.

ReplyDeleteNo Photoshop used to make the rainbow photograph, I like to make my photographs "in camera".
Every evening, the low western sun with its warm light hits that building and lights it like a spotlight! Now add to that a dark cool cloudy sky background with a really VIVID RAINBOW and you have the makings of a photograph!
I love the bartizan detail on our neighbor building. I heard a rumor that they might be getting rid of it! I should investigate.
