The Bronx News Network will be hosting a debate between the two candidates for City Council in the 11th District -- the incumbent G. Oliver Koppell, and the challenger Tony Perez Cassino -- at the Mosholu branch of the New York Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The auditorium only holds about 80 people so we urge those interested to show up a little early to be assured a seat. The library is located on East 205th Street between Bainbridge and Perry avenues.

Firstly, it is a beautiful auditorium as we have held several events there.
ReplyDeletesecondly, Bedford Park @ Norwood will finally be represented as we come down the final innings of this race.
NWB Democrats support the re-election of Councilman Oliver Koppell. We believe the elections of Yudelka Tapia @ G. Oliver Koppell will:
a) Preserve the elements in The Northern Central Bronx while
b) Recognizing, as per the courts, that The Southern Central Bronx has now offically changed and needs new repesentation to help it to grow---after 20 years of skulldrugery. Ms Tapia, a 25 year resident/community activist is our first choice to help re-liberate the Southern Central Community.
NWB Says: Help us clean up The Bronx. Vote Tapia @ Koppell
