That's what the Daily News is saying after the Board of Elections voted today to fire George Gonzalez, who they call "a product" of the Bronx Democratic Party. Bad..lets say..embarrasing..he was in essence caught trying to rig the Special Election Council race in Queens at the behest of Stanley Schlien..ugly...
ReplyDeleteIt is time for the Bronx Democratic Party to oust Stanley Schlein. The voters ousted Espada -- but unfortunately we have no direct control over Schlein. If the current party leaders don't act -- the voters should. It is too late this election cycle to do much -- but if Schlein is still around as the 2012 cycle rolls around, the Bronx Democratic leaders should feel the heat.
ReplyDeleteCarl Heastie and Ruben "I'm not my daddy" Diaz, Jr. should see this as a...warning... Heastie and Diaz are both individuals who lack leadership and their days are numbered... watch!
