From Community Board 4 comes word of a major oil spill this morning on Grant Highway, between West 170th Street and Jesup Avenue.
According to an email sent out Tuesday morning by Board 4, more than 1000 gallons of oil spilled from a tanker. A response team from New Jersey is in the process of cleaning up the spill.
