The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization, led by State Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz, is holding a rally this afternoon to protest the world's skyrocketing gas prices. Hispanic Ministers To Hold A Demonstration Against The Increase in Oil & Gas Prices
The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization, presided by Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz, together with elected officials, will hold a press conference/demonstration to protest the increased prices of gasoline.
This demonstration will take place on Thursday, July 31st 2008, from 12:00-1:30 PM, at the Times Square Triangle, located at 7th Avenue and 42nd Street in Manhattan.
“As a protest to the oil crisis that has affected our nation, and so manyfamilies in Latin-American nations have been struggling with, even to the point of making it hard to purchase basic foods to feed entire families, we will join our voices in protest of these conditions to those of so many
throughout the world,” said Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz.
