BxNN Story of the Day: Free of Lead, Harris Field Rehab Continues
The reconstruction of Harris Field, the large park with several ball fields that sits between Lehman College and the Bronx High School of Science, has resumed following months of delays and $5.2 in cost overruns due to the cost of remediation of lead contamination. The hope is that the fields will be ready next spring for youth baseball league teams, which rely heavily on the park. Read more in the Norwood News. (Photo by Alina Rodriguez)
