Last night, Democrats voted not to extend rent regulations because they say the status quo isn't good enough. Today, Bronx State Senator Gustavo Rivera, whose 33rd District includes a wide swath of the northwest Bronx and 72,000 rent regulated apartments, said they are holding out for strengthened rent regulations.
