  1. I don't know much about the methods used by the Citizens Committee to collect responses, but aren't people who are more dissatisfied with their community the folks that tend to respond in greater numbers to this sort of survey?

    That being said, I agree with Gary that the survey offers some real lessons for Bronx community groups and elected officials. It's high time the needs, ideas, and concerns of communities drive the political agenda in the Bronx.

    I for one am grateful opportunities to communicate with fellow Bronxites through forums like the Norwood News, Mt. Hope Monitor, and Bronx News Network.

FYI: You can find out more about the survey and the Citizens Committee's methods on Monday night, March 2 at 9pm, when the committee's executive director appears on BronxTalk on channel 67. Feel free to call in and ask questions and/or make comments about the survey's findings and the state of the Bronx in this day and age.
