Tear it Down -- 118 Days and Counting

This "Tear It Down" Clock goes along with this editorial in the most recent edition of the Norwood News. Until Mayor Bloomberg sends in the cranes to demolish Yankee Stadium and make way for long overdue community ballfields, this will be a regular feature of the blog.

  1. I hope they put back the Tennis courts too.

  2. This is so great! Thanks for helping out. Sometimes we think we are David fighting Goliath.

We will remember the last sentence of your editorial:

"If you want to add your voice, simply call the mayor’s office (212-788-3000) and tell Mayor Bloomberg, “Tear It Down. Now!”"

  3. to Adi:
The tennis courts will be on the Harlem river, across the tracks and under the Major Deegan Expressway. You will be worn out when you get there ~ too tired to play tennis. That is, if you can afford it. It will be operated by a vendor and will probably price the residents out.
