Mary Mitchell Community Center, Bronx Leaders on BronxTalk

This Monday night at 9:00pm on BronxTalk, Mary Mitchell Community Center Executive Director Heidi Hynes and Board member Wanda Salaman will talk with host Gary Axelbank about the city's demands for rent and other fees and how that might impact the future of the center which has provided vital programs and services to the Crotona section of the Bronx for more than a decade.

Then on the next two Mondays, the guests on BronxTalk will be the borough's top political leaders.  On October 18, Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. will be the guest and on October 25, Bronx Democratic Committee Chairman Carl Heastie will be the guest.

Note that because he takes phone calls on his monthly News 12 program, the borough president will not be taking phone calls on BronxTalk.  Viewers who wish to submit questions for inclusion on the show should send them to bronxtalk@hotmail.com.

Viewers who wish to call in to the show with Mr. Heastie, or any other show, should call 718-960-7241 during the program.

For the past sixteen years, BronxTalk has been seen live each Monday night at 9:00pm on Bronxnet's Cablevision channel 67. It's also on Verizon Fios channel 33 and streamed live at bronxnet.org. Produced by Jane Folloro, BronxTalk is repeated each day at 9:30am, 3:30pm, and 9:00pm. Archives are available at blip.tv; search for "BronxTalk."
