Most of the news about the replacement parks the city promised in return for taking parkland for the new Yankee Stadium is not good -- lots and lots of missed deadlines (not the least of which is the ridiculously long time to take down the old Yankee Stadium).
But David Gonzalez had a nice piece the other day about one bright spot in the as yet unfulfilled landscape where kids and their track coaches finally have a place to chase their dreams. Check it out.
