Bronx News Roundup, June 10

Not a whole lot un-Espada related online right now.

Vice President Joe Biden and other officials got together yesterday at the White House to praise Sonia Sotomayor for her dedication to curbing crime. Republicans were fuming when Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Pat Leahy set the date of July 13th for the Supreme Court nominee hearings, saying the process comes too fast and Democrats are acting "completely unneccessarily."

A young mother from the Bronx is being charged with allegedly murdering her infant son.

In sports, the Yankees lost to the Red Sox Tuesday night at the game in Fenway.

  1. Sounds like Ms. Riley snapped. She is a low life. That child didn't deserve to be treated this way from his own mother.
