Facials, Massages and Help For Domestic Violence Victims

Not a bad gig.

As part of Bronx Week (through June 20), Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. (that's him, face down, thumbs up) gets a massage earlier today at the 7th Annual DiVA Spa.

The event, held at the Bronx County Courthouse, was held to highlight the problem of domestic violence and also help victims get the resources and services they need to make it without their abusers.

"It is our hope that the information we share today can save the life of even one victim of domestic violence," Diaz said in a press release. "If we can that, we have done our job."

Domestic abuse is turning into a major issue the former assemblyman from Soundview.

On Monday, Mayor Bloomber joined with Diaz at the Bronx's MS 331 to promote the new B.P.'s "Start Strong Bronx" program, which is designed to help stop teen dating abuse.

  1. A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated, and masks your skin. Facials are the second most popular spa service after massages to your body. Everyone wants healthy, glowing skin. Pretty much all facials will cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize your skin. Just having a facial should make you feel pampered, and most facials will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed and your skin feeling softer and cleaner. Each facial has been designed to address the source of our skin issues and is scientifically and precisely crafted to both eradicate the problem and prevent future occurrences.
