Mayor Bloomberg wasted no time in yanking Bronx teacher Melissa Petro from her classroom at PS 70 after he learned of her very public musings about her past as a sex worker.

  1. What has Congressman Serano truly done for our community? After so many years in congress, how is it that we are still the poorest community. I think it is time for new leadership. I would love to see Borough President Reuben Diaz take his place. What do you think?

  2. HOw is it possible someone can be in congress for so long and we are still the worst of the worst when it comes to poverty? The answer is obvious, poor leadership from this congressman Serano.
