With the forecast calling for frigid rain and possible storms this weekend, Bronx Borough President has decided to postpone Sunday's annual Tour de Bronx bike ride.
No word yet on a make-up date.
“Unfortunately, due to concerns over weather and rider safety, and following discussions with City officials, I have decided to postpone the annual Tour De Bronx bicycle tour, which was scheduled for Sunday, October 18. My office is working to schedule a future date for this event, and I deeply regret the last minute nature of this announcement and any inconvenience this may cause those of you who were anticipating a wonderful ride through our Bronx streets,” Diaz said in a statement.
