Sunday Oct 11: The Lehman center launched their 2009-2010 season with a show by the masters of Kung Fu, The Shaolin Warriors. The gurus of martial arts with their years of laser focused practice, created an evening of spectacular Kung fu. The monks from China cast a spell banishing gravity from the lehman stage. Effortlessly flying many feet into the air, spinning, somersaulting with their weapon limbs, always landing gracefully like a ballerina, exploding into action again. During the evening children and adults were invited to be a part of the performance. I enjoyed myself making photographs that evening, hope you enjoy them too.
